Thursday Aug 06, 2020
Thursday Aug 06, 2020
Matt went away for a Phish show last week. Phish cancelled, but the Campbells didn't. Instead they had a Fish show in the streams of Arkansas. But he is back and he has a big announcement about a new solo project launching in September. They're also talking about Election Reforms, the loss of the I Voted sticker, and a good 'ol fashioned Midwesterner Goodbye

(#RunItBack) Tomahawk Chop... Fun or Racist?
Thursday Jul 30, 2020
Thursday Jul 30, 2020
Matt's on vacation so we're replaying an episode from September 2019 where we discussed the Tomahawk Chop. It seemed relevant since it has been topical of late with the Washington Football Team losing the Redskins mascot. Enjoy and we'll be back next week with a new episode
Matt has been holding something in for about 5 to 10 years and today's episode his outlet to share his thoughts on all things Tomahawk Chop related. Along the way, he manages to to not only shit on that tradition, but he has some passionate opinions that include, but are not limited to the following: The team name itself, the stadium name, War Paint, the Kansas City Royals, Jackson County, Andrew Jackson, and.... Elvis Presley. In his defense, he does offer up some solutions for a non-offensive team name as well as goes out of his way to apologize and pass along his well wishes to the people of the Great State of Texas. He came prepared and did some research.

USa vs. Angola - Dream Team's First Game
Wednesday Jul 22, 2020
Wednesday Jul 22, 2020
On today's episode of 2 C's with a Pod the boys are a little bummed out about the Olympics being postponed. Being the well adjusted adults they are, Andy and Matt decide to have a watch-a-long with the Dream Team's First Game. Spoiler Alert - Angola holds a 2-1 lead and the game is tied for several seconds at 7... then a 54-4 run put the game out of reach. Congrats to Angola for making the tournament. Its a "drinkin episode" so don't expect any in depth Basketball analysis. You should except commentary on David Robinson's physique, Christian Laettner's hair, and some misplaced anger towards the assigned referees of this contest.
And because those dicks at the Olympic committee copyright blocked us on YouTube, this is a watch a long. You can follow along here https://youtu.be/E7SaPj-wJBo

Matt and Andy devise a plan to save the NFL Season
Thursday Jul 16, 2020
Thursday Jul 16, 2020
Dear Roger Goodell,
Let's face it, the NFL will not be playing in front of fans this year. We're not even really sure you can have a season. We're skeptical that MLB will be able to pull off the travel. That's why Matt and Andy decided to take the liberty of revamping your schedule and creating a simple yet complex bubble system to ensure we have content throughout the Fall. We mean, that fans have NFL games to watch. Send the private jet and we'll discuss in further details but we want Mahomes Money plus $0.01 each. Have your people get in touch with our people at twocswithapod@gmail.com
Sincerely, Matt and Andy

Pardon the Interruption

The boys brought out the PowerPoint and Stopwatch for this week's episode. We put them on the clock to get their thoughts on Mask Ordinances, NFL Stadium Restrictions, When and how should schools re-open, Tearing down Mount Rushmore and renaming the Washington Redskins, and Matt's new favorite subject - Jason Whitlock. They agreed on 100% of the issues. We also would like to sell you the plot of land that Mount Rushmore resides. Serious inquiries only at twocswithapod@gmail.com

The Price is Right... from 1976
Thursday Jul 02, 2020
Thursday Jul 02, 2020
The 1,000th episode of the Price is Right aired 44 years ago today. Yep, the boys are watching a TV Show from July 2, 1976 or a few months and almost a year before Andy and Matt respectively were born. Watch along to see how they fared in their bids, the fashion, the commercials, the cars, and what Showcase Showdown they would pick. (Hint: It's always the second one)

It sounds better when it comes from a Hot Dog

The boys wander from Jason Whitlock to Twitter to Chubba Hubbard & Mike Gundy's beef to Paula Abdul to best quote from The Wire to why RoboCop is the perfect police officer and finally they wonder if Johnny 5 is still alive (you bet your ass is he!)

2020... The Year the World Change
Thursday Jun 11, 2020
Thursday Jun 11, 2020
2020 seems to have a World changing event occur on a monthly basis. We're living it right now and we're talking about it. Perhaps the most interesting thing in the episode will be to see how well our comments and takes on what is happening in the world age. Not our most fun conversation, but we felt it was important to have

2013 MLS Cup
Wednesday May 27, 2020
Wednesday May 27, 2020
Jump in your DeLorean and punch in the date 12-07-2013 and set the coordinates to Sporting Park (or was it Livestrong Park) to join Matt, Andy, and special guest Matt May as they look back on the coldest game in MLS history. It's the 2013 MLS Cup Final between Sporting Kansas City and Real Salt Lake. 90 minutes of regulation couldn't resolve who was the better team. Neither could an additional 30 minutes of play. Nor could a standard Best of 5 shootout. Crazy game in crazy conditions requires crazy guys to break it down. We know just the three for the job!

Next week, we watch the Dream Team's first game against Angola. It was close... at the tip.

1998 NBA Finals Game 4 4th Quarter
Thursday May 21, 2020
Thursday May 21, 2020
We all remember the final shot, but this was a back and forth contest with Jazz leading by a small margin most of the way. So, thrown on your Air Jordans or if you were a Jazz fan, get those LA Gears out and watch along with Matt and Andy as they relive the 4th quarter of Game 6 of the 1998 NBA Finals to see where a legend grew his legacy and others just missed.
