COVID-19 and Elizabeth Warren... Not related
Thursday Mar 12, 2020
Thursday Mar 12, 2020
A peek behind the curtain, this episode was recorded the afternoon of March 11, 2020. The original intention of this show was to be give Matt one last opportunity to discuss Elizabeth Warren's Presidential bid. Sadly (for some), that run came to an end last week. Eventually, we get there, but there was a lot of movement in Coronavirus news that the boys felt warranted a discussion. On Matt's way to the recording the NCAA cancelled fans in attendance at the Tournament... even more happened as we were recording and continues to be a fluid situation.

Matt found a Unicorn!
Tuesday Mar 03, 2020
Tuesday Mar 03, 2020
Super Tuesday is upon us and we felt it was only right that we "stuck to politics, pal." Over the past few weeks a quadrant detailing where one lies on the political spectrum has gained popularity. Matt was bale to complete the quiz 36 in 36 seconds and landed so far to the bottom left of the quadrant his results actually said "off the chart." It took Andy a little longer and left him often confused and arguing the wording of the questions. Way to over think it pal.
But before they got into that, the had some catching up to do. We here at 2 C's appreciate all of the love and positive feedback we received on our Remembering Vena Tialino episode from last week. If you haven't already, please go listen to that one as he holds a special place in the hearts of all of us here.
Now that we got that out of our system, before they could get in to their topic, Andy's basketball team got smoked this weekend (cough coaching cough) and we believe he may have had one of those time space continuum things where he happened upon 8 year old Andy Cavanaugh at a recent rasslin show. Enjoy those stories as well.

5 years ago today, we lost Vena Tialino. Matt gets the week off as Andy tags in lifelong friend Bobby Hines to sit down and share some Vena stories from the good 'ol days at Spring Branch Elementary, Jim Bridger Junior High and William Chrisman High School. Enjoy this special episode as they share their favorite stories, memories, and pay homage to their lost friend. Enjoy this heart felt and heart warming episode. Rest easy Vena.

The time we tried to NOT talk about the Chiefs
Thursday Feb 20, 2020
Thursday Feb 20, 2020
Andy recently spent some time with his good friend, Bronco Fan Dave, and found out Dave had not been listening to the Pod. Aghast at this situation, Andy pressed to understand what the boys did to offend. Lt's be honest, every time these guys hit the record button, there is a really good chance they'll offend. However, the obvious answer is Bronco Fan Dave felt the episodes were a little too "Chief heavy" and with it being his birthday and all, the boys decided to try to go an episode without talking about the Super Bowl LIV Champion Kansas City Chiefs. The boys had to stretch, but they covered an array of topics including is 7th Grade too soon for a tattoo?, which goes first - ice then liquid or liquid then ice?, The Houston Astros, Matt's Missouri for Warren Sign, and an introduction to the coming soon Wook + brackets.

Matt has joined the Wook Plus team on a project called One Minute Phishtory and while we typically like to shot on the hosts of this show, it's actually really cool. Truth be told we're a little concerned because that's a pretty slick operation over there and we're worried about our jobs. Eek!
The boys share their memories and pay tribute to Kobe and Gianna Bryant in the wake of the tragedy in Calabasas, CA a few days ago.
Later they get into a conversation and comparison between Antonio Brown, Aaron Hernandez, and OJ Simpson. We weren't really paying attention, but we think Andy tried to make a case that OJ didn't do it. Listen we don't judge what the boys do or do not drink during the recording of these episodes. We just write up descriptions and upload to the Interwebs. Enjoy!

We goin to the Super Bowl Babay!
Tuesday Jan 21, 2020
Tuesday Jan 21, 2020
All it took was for us to start a Podcast and the Chiefs go to the Super Bowl. On behalf of all of us here at 2 C's with a Pod - you are welcome Kansas City. While we're handing out thanks and congratulations - congrats to Big Red on finally beating the Tennessee Titans for a second time. Huge accomplishment!
Enjoy the fun as the boys a day removed from the Chiefs qualifying for the Super Bowl for the first time in their lives relive their emotions and share their expectations for the next two weeks. Go Chiefs!

BONUS EPISODE: AFC Divisional Playoff
Monday Jan 13, 2020
Monday Jan 13, 2020
Down 24-0, it didn't look good for the boys beloved Kansas City Chiefs. But then as Andy says the Chiefs saw one go through the hoop. Look, we don't normally like to agree with him or give hm any credit, but we're all giddy after the game so we're going to let his basketball analogy to describe a football game slide just this once. Tune in to find out how the boys emotions ranged throughout the game. Hint: one had some pretty emotional things to say and one tried to act like there was hope, but it was false bravado that proved to be true.

A venting session
Thursday Jan 09, 2020
Thursday Jan 09, 2020
Well, that didn't take long into the New Year / Decade. After literally less than a week making a resolution not to "let things bother him so much" Andy goes on a 45 minute rant about job applicants. Matt offers his support and a lends an ear... or maybe he was still loopy from his pain meds. Still not loopy enough to keep him from sharing some some thoughts about Iran. Honestly, we're just surprised Andy didn't turn that into a 3 hour show on his favorite Iron Sheik wrestling matches.
Tune in next week to hear Matt give an "unbiased" explanation on impeachment.
